Tricks and tips for getting the best Beaufort vacation property experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Summer is high season in Beaufort. Book your rental in Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • In the Crystal Coast area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Crystal Coast visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Selecting the perfect vacation rental in the Crystal Coast area:

  • Choose a group leader, select your dates, and select a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Sherwood Sanctuary- Home with Private Pool in Beaufort, NC has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Crystal Coast rental home search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you reserve your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's a specific Crystal Coast destination you love, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.

More tips for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the rental manager immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a terrific time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
