The Lazy Livin is a private charter docked in the historic port town of Beaufort, North Carolina. We can comfortably accommodate 6 persons. Our standard charter begins with a cruise down Taylors Creek where you can take in views of luxury yachts docked on the Beaufort waterfront on the port side and Carrot island ponies and maritime forests on the starboard side. Then, we make our way to Shackelford Banks, part of th Cape Lookout National Seashore, where dolphin sightings are always enjoyed. So bring your camera! If seas permit, we can venture into the Atlantic Ocean via the Beaufort Inlet and cruise along the oceanside of Shakelford Banks to Cape Lookout. Once inside the Bight, keep and eye out for loggerhead turtles! The Lazy Livin' is a vintage 1971, 43’ Hatteras motor yacht that has been meticulously refurbished with all modern conveniences yet maintains her vintage charm. The yacht is a fine example of early North Carolina yacht building craftsmanship and the Hatteras brand is still a major industry in eastern NC. The captain, Monty Groff, holds a 100 ton Master Captain’s license and has been boating on the waters of the Crystal Coast for over 20 years. The kitchen has all the necessities of home as well as a view to the living room. The dining area is just off the kitchen and seats 8 with a couple of bar stools for additional seating. The living room is comfortable and has just been refreshed with a new TV if watching sports or your favorite movie is of interest. The door to the far side of the living room provides access to a comfortably furnished, covered deck... with a view of the entrance to the private pool.Also, on this living room level is a guest room that offers a Queen bed with painless access to a Hall Bath.Moving up the stairs to the next level you will find 3 guest rooms. To the right is a guest room offering a Queen bed that has a private hall bath, to the left is an additional guest room that offers two sets of twin over twin bunk beds. The primary suite of As You Wish sits above the treeline; as you lie in the King-sized bed, you feel as if you are sitting on top of the entire community, and will rest simple knowing the great Atlantic is just around the corner! All of the bed linens, including the comforters are laundered in between guests as part of the Spinnaker’s Reach Fresh Bed Promise. The ground level of the home is called the Rec Room. There is a ping pong table for those feeling the need for some friendly competition, and a sizable screen TV for those wanting to relax on the sectional couch. As You Wish is outfitted for family fun as it offers a basketball hoop, private pool, intelligent TVs in all rooms, golf cart for easy beach access, and enough space for everybody to savor their vacation the way they see fit. The beach access is located at the corner of Shipwreck Lane and Louise Howard Court. This is where the golf parking is for the community as well as the community pool. If you chose to walk to the beach from As you Wish the walk would take around 5-7 mins..
